Had some more down time. Watched Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me on Netflix.
My friend Vick from China appeared online and was telling me about the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) celebration. They get an entire two weeks off of work! It is the year of the Ox and the lucky color is red and they eat certain foods for good luck and spend time visiting family and friends. Special market places open and the city goes all out with lights and decorations. He got off work 3:30am US Central time which is 5:30pm China time.
Looked up some recipes on eggplant and it looks like it is often used in a ratatouille or grilled.
I snacked on some cocoa roast almonds.
Later on I went back down to the break room and made myself dinner which was a Kashi Southwest Style Chicken Entree.
I also ate a TJ's Light String Cheese Stick while I was waiting for it to heat up.
About one more hour to go until I can go home and get some sleep!
