05.27.09 Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Snacks

I had Wednesday off work so I got to sleep in!

Woke up, got dressed and headed over to my mom's to take her flower shopping.

Ate a Blueberry Bliss Luna Sunrise Bar on the way there.

Trunk full of pretty flowers...definitely not done shopping for them yet.

Diet Peach Tea from Arby's was very refreshing! Freebie Day:)

Got home around 2:30pm and made a kicking Indian lunch!

Jalfrezi sauce is amazing! See my cookbooks and lovely holder from WS...

I cooked up 1 cup of whole grain basmati rice.

While I cubed 1.5lbs chicken breast and fried it up with onion.

Also steamed 1lb Broccoli at the same time.

Mixed everything together with the Jalfrezi sauce...the spices smelled great together!

My portion with some warm, toasted whole wheat naan

Dessert was same as yesterday...another BB choc ice cream sandwich.

For dinner since it was free Arby's Roast Beef with drink we went there.

This time I tried the Diet Blackberry Iced Tea...I like the Peach much better.

We weren't full after one so we drove thru another Arby's and got one more.

Came home and had a cup of Edy's NSA Butter Pecan Ice Cream.

02.18.09 Quick Lunch, Big Dinner at Big Bowl

I'm off work until Monday night and have plenty to do in the meantime.

I left for my mom's at 3:30pm and brought a Kashi Soft-Baked Ripe Strawberry Bar to go with me.

We had an appointment at the funeral home at 4pm to finalize the funeral arrangements. They did a wonderful job and my grandfather would have been happy.

After the appointment we went to eat at Big Bowl nearby since we were starving. Ordered the Beef Thai Wraps and Chicken Stirfry Bowls.

02.09.09 Dinner

Got a break around 3:40pm and went down to the breakroom and fixed myself a cup of TJ's European Style Yogurt with 2oz blueberries and added a pack of Truvia. A coworker of mine was also on break so we chatted awhile. Went back upstairs and got back to work.

The rest of the day was pretty busy as well...I had to reboot a few servers in my building and I had to go over to the other serving building and reboot a hung server.

What a hectic Monday, I was so excited to leave at 6pm! Signed out of everything and grabbed my TJ's cooler bag and headed down to bring the rest of my food home for my 3 day break.

Left work and headed to Cub Foods...bought 2 pkgs Hunt's No Sugar Added Chocolate Pudding $2, Mushrooms $1.50, Soup ($9 - $3 coupon = $6), South Beach FiberFit S'mores Bars ($2.50 - $2 = $0.50), Big Container of Whole Grain Couscous $6, Green Onions $0.50, Broccoli, Mushroom, Pepper, Onion Veggie Mix $4, Blue Bunny No Sugar Added Banana Split Ice Cream ($3.50 - $1 = $2.50), Wild Harvest Organic Soy Milk ($3 - $1 = $2), 2 Atkins Granola Bars ($3 - $1 = $2, Part-Skim Ricotta Cheese $2. Total bill = $29

Stopped at Rainbow Foods on the way home and bought two pkgs Imagine Soups...Tomato Basil and Butternut Squash ($7 - $1.50 coupon = $5.50) and 1 pkg fresh Chicken Breast $4.50 = $10

Got home, put groceries away and started making dinner. Cooked up 1.5lbs fresh Chicken Breast and cubed it up. Steamed 2 bags of the Broccoli, Mushroom, Pepper and Onion mixed Veggies, and cooked 1 cup of couscous. Mixed everything together and added the Thai Green Curry Paste and let the couscous, veggies and chicken soak it up. It was an excellent meal with powerful flavor.

02.05.09 Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Got in 7 hours of sleep...9:30pm - 4:30am. Woke up, got dressed and drove Angie to work. Came back home and did my usual computer stuff...email, finances, blog, favorite sites. Watched some cooking shows from Comcast On Demand.

Ended up taking a nap but not for long. I decided to go out shopping at SuperTarget cause I needed some nylons for my dress I'm wearing Saturday night to my company party. Also needed to buy groceries since I work 12 hour day shifts Friday thru Monday and wouldn't have any time to do so.

Grabbed a Think Thin Chunky Peanut Butter to eat on my way to SuperTarget...

I bought 2 cans of Blue Diamond Chili Lime Almonds ($5 - $1 coupon = $4), Annie's Cheddar Bunnies $2, Kashi TLC Ripe Strawberry Cereal Bar ($2.75 - $2 coupon = $0.75), South Beach Diet S'mores Bars ($3 - $2 coupon = $1), 2 pkgs Hormel Natural Turkey Breast $7, Santa Fe Salmon Cakes ($6 - $3 coupon = $3) Blueberry Jam $2, 6 cans of soup ($9 - $2 coupon - $1 coupon = $6), 6 cans Hunt's No Sugar Added Sauce = $5.25, Maxwell House Coffee $6, 2 containers of Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt $5, Olive Oil Spread $1, 2 containers of Blue Bunny No Sugar Added Cookies & Cream $7. Also stopped by Sam's Club and saw my sister, her boyfriend and my cousin Cassie there and chatted with them for awhile. They were all anxious to get off work and Sarah said she was going to our mom's tonight and that my mom changed her mind about what kind of car she wanted...thinking she wants an black SUV she can step up into because it would be easier on her. At Sam's I picked up two bags of Arnold Sandwich Thins $4, 2 heads of lettuce $2, Sabra Red Pepper Hummus was on sale for $2, Cottage Cheese $5, Turkey Breast $7, Magazine $3.50, and Cocoa Roast Almonds $9.50. Went home and put away the groceries and made the Santa Fe Salmon Cakes for Dave & I and put coffee on for him.

Shortly after it was time to pick Angie up from work. Went and got her and brought her back home. Started lunch which was a Thai Yellow Curry Chicken Stirfry (1.5lbs Chicken Breast, 8oz Sugar Snap Peas, 2lb Mixed Stirfry Veggies and the Thai Yellow Curry Sauce I bought at World Market, :( - going out of business.

After we ate we left to go work some more at the old place. Got the last big piece of furniture loaded...a lovely credenza for the living room. Then we went inside and brought up boxes from the basement into the living room and sorted them, must have went through over a dozen boxes and threw away 3 large boxes of garbage and things we didn't want that weren't appropriate for a thrift store. Finished up working at the old place and brought Cody back with us for dinner.

Got back home and unloaded the truck and made TJ's Chile Lime Chicken Burgers for dinner.

My Chicken Burger

It was 8pm by the time we started eating dinner so it was almost time for me to go to bed since I work 6am tomorrow morning. For dessert I had a South Beach Diet Cinnamon Raisin Bar. Going to get some sleep now! :)

01.29.09 Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

I slept in Thursday morning and got 7 hours of sleep...6:00am - 1:00pm. After eating so many calories yesterday I surprisingly didn't gain any weight but didn't lose any either.

For breakfast I made myself a Thomas English Muffin with Trader Joe's Unsalted Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam.

Went to pickup Angie at Target around 1:30pm and drop her friend Abby off at home. Angie wasn't feeling well at all so I brought her home and she went to bed. Dave woke up not feeling well either so I made him a Thomas English Muffin with PB&J as well.

Left around 4:45pm, then got gas for $1.81/gal and picked up a Grape Powerade Zero and went to bring my timesheet over because I forgot to mail it.

Returned some sweater tights at Sears cause they ended up not being long enough for me.

Then I went to IKEA to return the over the couch arm remote organizer, a rod that mounted to the wall for hanging utensils, hooks for the rod and a steel magazine rack. I got store credit because we lost the recipt so I bought a floor lamp with a reading light for the bedroom and a baking pan with a rack. They were sampling Gille-Havre Biscuits so I had one.
Went shopping at Rainbow Foods and picked up the new South Beach FiberFit S'mores Bars...they are so good and contain no HFCS!

I had one...very hard to resist eating more than one!!!

For groceries I bought: Sugar Snap Peas, Mushrooms, Eggplant, Oranges, Wholly Guacamole and Wholly Salsa, Kashi Go Lean Strawberry Waffles, Dannon Light & Fit, Lean Turkey Ham, 4 packages of cheese at 99 cents a piece!, Maxwell House Coffee, Near East Mushroom Couscous, Low Sodium Pizza Sauce,  Arnold Sandwich Thins, Chicken Noodle and Tomato Soups, Vitamin C Tablets, Eggs, Diet Coke and the South Beach FiberFit S'mores Bars.

I came home and heated up some Chicken Noodle Soup for Dave and Angie. Whipped up a cup of Yogurt and Blueberries for each of them. Had a half cup of yogurt and blueberries myself.

Later on I made myself a Kirkland Signature Turkey Burger with 1/3 cup cheese, raw onion, lettuce and some Steel's Gourmet Sugar Free Barbecue Sauce on an Arnold Sandwich Thin.

We watched the latest episode of Biggest Loser. Sad to see the orange team go, but you could tell the brown team wanted to be there more and the team members were appalled at what Daniel said about not really wanting to be there.

Then we watched the latest episode of CSI off our DVR.

It was definitely time for dinner after that...I made a turkey and veggie stirfry with peanut sauce. (cooked and broke up 4 Jenny-O Turkey Burgers, Steamed 8oz of Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Carrot Mix, 8oz Trader Joe's Pepper Mix and 8oz of Sugar Snap Peas, then added about 8 Tbsp Whole Foods 365 Peanut Sauce and walah...dinner was served.) Had some sugar free orange drink mix with 100% Vitamin C to drink with the meal.
