05.01.09 Lunch & Snacks

It was crazy busy for a Friday at work right up until noon!

We had more Citrix issues with different servers, our GPS app server had to be recycled twice, SQL Server maintenance, CMMS issues and a few jobs didn't complete in Veritas.

It was great to get out for lunch...went to OCB again with coworkers. Old Country Buffet can be good and bad, there are so many good choices for you but so much temptation to resist.

Everything in moderation and portion control is key. You don't want to completely deny yourself of certain foods because that could lead to binging. I did have one too many desserts though.

After I got back from lunch it was still busy. Two IPM servers went down...one in my server building and one in the other server building and they were both remotely unreachable so I had to thumb them both. I love running over to 277 though...those stairs do your legs good!

For my afternoon snack I had some Organic Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt with a quarter cup of Kashi Summer Berry Granola and a packet of Truvia.

02.25.09 Quick Breakfast & Lunch

Got in 7 1/2 hours of sleep...6:15am to 1:45pm. Woke up and got dressed and headed out to do some grocery shopping at Rainbow because we still needed a few things.

I bought yellow onions $1.50, 3lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Tenders $7, 2 containers of SF Drink Mix - Orange and Lemonade $5, Organic Peanut Butter $2.40, Reduced Sugar Grape Jam $2.20, SF Jello $3.80, SF Jello Chocolate Raspberry Pudding $2.50, 4 bottles of SoBe Lean Green Tea $4 = Subtotal $28.40 Then I hit the Indian Cuisine aisle and most things were 50% off...TastyBite Jaipur Vegetable Curry $3.40, Mushroom Achari Curry $2.70, Dal Palak Curry $2.90, Green Chilli Paste $2.10, Tamarind Chutney $2.10, Mint Chutney $2.10, Chickpea Flour $2.40, Dried Chickpeas $1, Whole Grain Brown Rice $2, Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce $2.30, Jalfrezi Simmer Sauce $2.30, Madras Simmer Sauce $2.30, and Tahini $4 = $31.60 = $60.00 - $5/$50 special = $55

Went home and put groceries away and showed Dave and Angie all the exciting Indian food I bought.

Left for work at 5:30pm and it took 15 minutes for me to get there so I ate a ThinkThin Brownie Crunch Bar for my Breakfast.

Work was quite busy for awhile but I finally got a break at 10pm so I went down the the breakroom and steamed some brown rice and heated up the TastyBite Jaipur Vegetable Curry. It was so aromatic and the flavor was outstanding! Drank a Grape Powerade Zero with my meal since it was kind of spicy.
